石灰作为第一代抗剥落剂的代表，许多国家和地区目前仍在使用。国内、外在石灰应用方面进行了许多室内试验研究，有的研究认为石灰不仅可以提高沥青混合料的水稳定性，而且对沥青混合料的高温性能、抗老化性能，甚至抗裂性能都有所提高。我国规范也有规定:经检验属于酸性岩石的石料，用于高速公路、一级公路时，为保证与沥青的粘附性，可用干燥的磨细消石灰或生石灰粉作为填料的一部分，或将粗集料用石灰浆处理后使用。但由于石灰粉颗粒很细，很难在混合料中混合均匀，在一定程度上制约了其推广应用。

There are also provisions in our country's code: the stone that belongs to acid rock after inspection can be used as a part of the filler by dry ground hydrated lime or quicklime powder, or the coarse aggregate can be used after being treated with lime slurry, in order to ensure the adhesiveness with asphalt when it is used in highway and class I highway. However, due to the fine particles of lime powder, it is difficult to mix evenly in the mixture, which restricts its application to a certain extent.
